Pool Rules and Points

It's difficult to judge how long the pool will take (largely dependent on the number of tables we have) so I've gone for an organic schedule.

Everyone playing everyone else is 28 games with no real fair option for finishing early.
So we will have two groups of 4 picked at random, who will play each other to determine their place in the group. Then either a quick play off totaling 16 games or a group play off at 24 games. Everyone will get 4 or 6 games. (order of play at end of the post)

Rules:
Pub Rules - 2 shots don't carry one on the black (1st shot can be a free ball) (you can play in any direction). If you pot 2 colours from the break you may nominate your colour. If you have balls left when your opponent is on the black, foul and snooker them they may pick up the ball and place it behind the balk line.

Points:
1 for a win 0 for a loss
If two players end up with the same points the winner of their match will finish higher.
If 3 players end up with the same points the player who had the least balls left on their losing game(s) will finish higher, if this still leaves 2 players tied the winner of their match will finish higher. (In the unlikely event of 3 players still being tied their position will be decided by getting as close to the top cushion playing down the table from the balk line.)

The final table order awards the usual 1st place 8 points, 2nd 7 points to 8th 1 point.
Bonus 1 point for 7 balling your opponent (max 1 point)
