Darts Points

I'm expecting the pool to take up most of the time in the pub so I've come up with a different format for the darts (other suggestions welcomed)

You will pay 1 game of 501 against an opponent and the number of darts you need to "checkout" will be your score.

When one player finishes the other continues until they have got to 0.

If you bust this counts as 3 darts regardless of when you went bust.

(I'm thinking of allowing a 12 dart penalty for any losing player on a single dart checkout wanting to quit, but not sue if 12 is the right number)

The player with the lowest score will be 1st - 8 points and the highest score will be 8th - 1 point

We can make a call on the day but if we have time everyone can play a 2nd, 3rd or 4th game to try to improve (reduce) their score. Your best score will be used to determine your place in the event.

Bouns points - 1 for highest checkout  and 1 for highest score with 3 darts
